The Black & Decker Workmate Workbench was designed for home use and could be assembled in several different configurations. These different configurations meant that multiple holes needed to be pre-tapped, although not all would be necessary depending upon the particular configuration chosen.
Replaced machine screws with DUO-TAPTITE® thread forming screws.
Tapping costs were eliminated by using DUO-TAPTITE® screws, since they form their own thread. DUO-TAPTITE® screws also provided easy alignment for home do it yourself assembly and eliminated any chance of cross threading.
